What a week !!!

So, the past storm was a whopper... nonstop snow for the entire weekend !! It was beautiful !! Now it's 50 degrees and the meltdown is underway !!  This photo was taken on Saturday at the start of the storm. This is part of my backyard ...

 Tonight we wrapped and wrapped and wrapped !!! We are finally done and the grandkids will NOT be disappointed !!!

What a Storm !!!

Well -it has FINALLY stopped snowing - what a weekend !!! The snow just kept on coming - it was beautiful !!! We finally finished decarationg the tree - better late then never !!! We still have wrapping to do... I also manged to get some scrapping done. We had a holiday party at RAH, our LSS and we made some fun projects and I got a few LO's done. I finished another one today for Inspired Blueprints - this sketch was so much fun and I can definetely see myself using it again and again. Thanks IB for the continued inspiration !! Well, I'm off to finish another LO for IB and then off to bed to try and get over my nasty cough !!

More exciting news !!!

Some Exciting news to share .... this deserves a separate post ...

I have been chosen as a Design Team member for the greatest LSS, Right at Home Scrapbooking in North Attleboro, Mass. I'm so excited to be a part of a great, diverse group of women with varying areas of creativity. I'm looking forward to working with this wonderful team and the lovely ladies that run this awesome store !! Please check out the store - you will not be disappointed !!

Snow Day !!!

So, we're up to about 8.0 " of snow now and still rising !!! I hope everyone was able to get home early from work or didn't have to be out at all today !!! My office closed at about 1:00 pm which worked out great !! We did some wrapping and I'm trying to do some scrapping, posting, editing photos, etc ...

We had a great time at the Cape this past weekend - the beach was cold, windy and BEAUTIFUL ! What is it about the beach that is rejuvenating and therapeutic - not matter what the season. The photos I took were with my point and shoot - didn't want to take my "BABY" (Canon 40d SLR) to the beach with 6 kids !! The weather was gloomy so the photos aren't great but they still represent a wonderful memory.

These were taken at Coast Guard Beach, one of the most beautiful seaside beaches of the Cape... Here is my friend Caren with proof just how cold it was !!!

It's been awhile ...

since my last post. This is a hectic time of year for all of us ... we try to get alot done in a little time...buying and putting up the tree, shopping, wrapping, decorating, Christmas cards, planning and attending parties - the most wonderful time of the year ? ! ? 

We put our tree up this past Sunday before the Pats game and Josh "Helped" ... we had fun and it was a good memory ... 

and I LOVE this one ... although I doubt Max liked it ...

I'm going to the Cape tomorrow after work for a long weekend with friends for a Christmas get together. There will be 3 couples and 6 kids ... should be FUN !! Hopefully I'll return with lots of photos to scrap !! Have a nice weekend and I'll check back when I return. Bye for now !!!

Almost Friday !!!

Hope everyone is having a great week - since my BIG NEWS my week has been GREAT !!! I'm still on a "high" ... so much so that I finished another great sketch from Inspired Blueprints. Check out their gallery - the talent is amazing and inspirational !! This was a fun sketch and a nice way to showcase a large photo ... I used a photo of my niece's adorable daughter Katelynn again - she is so darn cute !!! I also included some close-ups ... Thanks for looking and have a great Friday ans even better weekend !!!

I'm busting with excitement ...

I can now share my exciting news ... I have been chosen to be a part of a new design team for Inspired Blueprints - an awesome skecth site !!! YAHOO !!! I'm soooooo excited !! The site is a great inspiration for me to create and the talent there is amazing !!! The team is wonderful, suportive and incredibly creative. The community is like a family. I encourage you to stop by and see for yourself. The layout below is the one I submitted ... my neice's daughter Katelynn is so adorable it is easy to be inspired by her cuteness !! I used sketch # 3 as the foundation for my sketch. I used mostly Sassafraslass paper, which I'm currently hooked on,  and some hambly thrown in !! I look forward to more projects with this great team and I'm so happy to be a part it !!!

December is here !!!

Happy December 1st !! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving !! Today was so warm - what a nice break !! I can't believe the heat is off in my house and my loft window is open - the fresh air is great ...   Just finished another layout from Got Sketch? This was a fun, quick page and I love how cute Lexi and Lilly look !!
