I'm so embarrassed about letting my blog go for sooooooooo LONG!!! I do have an excuse though - renovations!! My first floor has been completely renovated ... kitchen, half bath and living room and OMG I'm in heaven!!! Nothing had been done in 25 years, so this was a long time coming!! I've been posting photos like crazy on Facebook but I can't resist a few before and after pics of the kitchen. These photos were taken with my new iphone ...
my refrigerator was 25 years old ...
and now I still can't believe this is mine ...
There is so much more light and all the elements are gorgeous together! I have more efficient storage ...
I couldn't be happier - now I don't mind cooking LOL!!!
Anyway, thanks for letting me share these pics again - now onto scrappy things! During the renovations I didn't scrap much. After work, it was trips to Lowe's or Home Depot almost daily and the crew was at my house until 7-7:30pm some nights. Then it was up at 6:00am to make sure I was ready (dressed) for the crew to be back by 7:00am. This went on for just over a month. I felt so guilty not creating but creativity was put on hold. Now that the house is back to normalish, I will return to my creative outlet! I actually just posted a layout on the Right at Home blog using some awesome Pink Paislee papers!! Here's a peek at the layout ...
So, I hope to keep up to date with my blogging now that the house is not cluttered with tools, and covered with dust and more dust! Have a great day and I'll be back soon! TFL!!!
