12 Days of Holiday Inspiration - Day 10

Welcome to Day 10 of the 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Blog Event brought to you by the "Inspiration Crew".
We're just a group of online crafty blog friends who love being creative. This time we're doing a 12-day event to provide you with tons of Holiday Inspiration.
We're making crafty projects using products we like and some of us are even offering prizes. Check each blog and the information there for what prizes are being offered and when the winners will be announced on that blog.
I can't believe it's Day 10 of our Holiday Inspiration Event! I have had so much fun creating holiday projects and trying some techniques I haven't done in a while. Today I want to share another Holiday Canvas Ornament I created for a recent class at my LSS Right at Home Scrapbooking. We created three 4x4 canvas ornaments and this one was my favorite. I wanted to make some mittens for the canvas and I cut them out of green paper. They were way too plain so I grabbed Tim Holtz "Holiday Knit" Layering Stencil and Ranger Texture Paste to jazz up the mittens ...

I then inked the edges of the mittens, added cuffs and attached them to the canvas.

So cute and so easy! This would make a great Holiday Swap gift and all it needs is some ribbon or an ornament hook and it's ready to adorn a Holiday tree!! Thanks for stopping by and check out the blogs below for more Holiday crafts. I will return tomorrow with another fun project. See you then!

This is lovely! Did you use a die for the mittens? If so, which one? Thank you

(Just found you while Googling for images of Tim's Holiday Knit stencil!)

I used a free printable template for the mittens. Thanks for the comment!
