Teacher Cards

Well, Hello December ... when did you sneak up on us?!?! Not sure I'm ready for you but here you are. I feel like the race is on!!
I'm back today to share a few Teacher Cards I made using more of the
Simon Says Stamp May 2016 Card Kit. These cards were super easy to make and would make a nice home made greeting for a favorite teacher.
I can't get enough of the Lawn Fawn 6 x 6 Plaid Paper pads. I stamped the adorable apples onto distress Watercolor Cardstock and then water colored them with Distress Inks. Here's some close ups.
Even a green apple looks cute with the plaid papers.
Here's the final card.
I see more plaid in my future!!
Thanks for dropping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of the week!

Thinking of You Card Trio

Hello Cyber Monday 2016!! Good luck today - hope you score some great deals!
I had a lovely Thanksgiving with my family and enjoyed some time off from work. In my down time I was in the studio catching up on Design Team projects and making cards. I grabbed a Simon Says Stamp Card Kit from May (I know, a little late!) and made some quick and easy cards. I'm now making multiples - it takes just a few minutes more, especially with the Misti Stamping Tool, and I have three cards on hand when needed. I made some cards perfect for mailing someone a smile. Here are my cards.
I love Lawn Fawn's Perfectly Plaid 6 x 6 Paper Pad. The colors are so bright and happy. Here's close ups of each card.
The sequins included in the kit make the cards even happier!
and the third card
I also made a few teacher cards with the same kit. I will share them later this week!
Thank for stopping by and I'll be back tomorrow with another Fall pocket page using the last bits of Noel Mignon's "All Fall" Daily Diary Kit.
See you then and have a profitable Cyber Monday!!

Simon Says Stamp Fall Doll Tag

Hello Everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. I want to share my latest Doll Tag using Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. I used the Lawn Fawn Fall Plaid papers to dress up one of Julie Nutting's Doll stamps and her adorable pup. Here's my tag.
I used Ranger Ink's Distress Watercolor Cardstock to die cut some Lawn Fawn Leaves and then colored them with Distress Inks. Once dry, I added some Clear Rock Candy Crackle Paint to give the leaves a crackle effect.
I love the Julie Nutting Pup stamp - he's so cute all dressed up! I stamped everything with the Misti Stamping Tool.
The word stickers are from Tim Holtz. I inked the edges with the Archival Ink included in the SSS Card Kit.
This tag was so fun to create and came together easy with October's Simon Says Stamp Card Kit!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I'll see you tomorrow with my latest Project Life page using this month's Noel Mignon Kit!! Have a great Monday!!

Fall Card Trio

Hi Everyone! I wanted to hop on today to share a card trio I made with Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit. I made these cards pretty quickly using the Misti Stamping Tool. The cards are perfect for this time of year and will be available to purchase at the upcoming Craft Fair Saturday November 19th. Here's my cards and a few close ups.
I LOVE the 6x6 Perfectly Plaid Fall paper pack by Lawn Fawn! The colors are perfect for the fall season. By the third card I got the leaf stamping done pat! I masked off the squirrels to keep the ink of the leaves off the squirrels.
Here's another card ... the Little B acorn stickers are a perfect accent for the cards and add some dimension.
Thanks for stopping by today and stay tuned for a new Doll Tag using this awesome kit!!
Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

Cards, Cards, Cards!!

Hello Bloggers! Happy Thursday. I hope your week is going well. I'm sharing my second project using Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit. My first project was a project life page - you can see that post here. There is so much product included in these kits that it's easy to create lots of projects. I also created three cards with April's Kit. Here are my cards.
All of my cards are simple and came together quickly. This card has a few stickers and a cute clip on the top. The papers did all the work for me!!
Here's my second card.
I love the script "hello".
My final card is my favorite. It's simple with a few stickers layered on the card.
Here's a few additional views.

Project Life Page with a Simon Says Stamp Card Kit

It's FRIDAY! AND, it's FRIDAY before a LONG WEEKEND! Even Better, Right?! How are you spending your long weekend - hopefully you can squeeze in a cookout or a trip to the beach or just hang out with family and friends and enjoy some yummy food! I'm going to visiting some puppies - one of which will be my Mom's soon!! I'll take lots of pics!
I wanted to end my blog week with a project life page I created with a card kit. I used Simon Says Stamp April Card Kit for this spread. This kit included lots of Simple Stories "Life in Color" embellies and papers. I created a few cards with this kit which I'll share next week, and then used the bulk of the kit to create a PL page. This is how versatile these kits are - just takes some out of the box thinking to create other projects with a card kit. Here's my page.
I haven't used this pocket page style in awhile. It's Design K and it worked well with the papers from the kit. I love the 4x4 pockets.  Here's some close ups of the cards starting with the title card. I layered stickers and a decorative clip from the "Life in Color" collection.
I added a few stickers and a decorative clip to the photo on this card.
Here's more close ups of the cards.
This page came together so quickly with the papers and adorable embellies from the kit.
Here's a last few cards.
It was fun to use the card kit to create something different. I will share the cards I made with this kit on Monday and Tuesday I'll be back with another layout using Noel Mignon's amazing kits!!
Thanks for stopping by today and checking out my pocket page.
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Have fun and stay safe!!

Simon Says Stamp - You are my Sunshine!

I am so happy to be back in creative mode! It's exciting and motivating and just plain fun!! I have three projects to share this week starting with this card I created using Simon Says Stamp May Card Kit. These kits sell out REALLY quick but are well worth every penny. I always have tons to create with and I gain a gorgeous stamp with every kit. I usually create several cards and a Prima Doll Tag each month. My surgery set my creativity back so this month I created a card with a Prima Doll Stamp on it!! I love how it came out and the colors are bright and
and so cheery!! Here's my card.
The Prima Doll Stamp is "Collette" one of the newer stamps for the summer. I water colored her skin, hair and the adorable flower from the stamp set included in this month's kit with gelatos! I stamped Collette onto cream colored cardstock using my Misti Tool and paper pieced her summer outfit.
Here's a close up of the cute flower.
I added a few sequins, also included in the kit, and a sentiment. I love the summery feel to this card - it would be nice to give someone who needs some cheering up!
If you're looking for an awesome card kit, please check out Simon Says Stamp Card Kits
Thanks for stopping by. I'll be back tomorrow with a fun layout for Noel Mignon, See you then!!

Slowly Getting Back in the Groove

Hi Everyone.
I've been away from the blog a bit as I recuperate from hip replacement surgery - every time I type or write that I feel so old! I know lots of people younger than me that have had this surgery but it still makes me feel old!!! Everything is going well - lots of good days, only a few tougher days. The pain is minimal, just uncomfortable - the incision line is right where I sit, so getting comfortable is always a challenge. I felt so much better immediately after the surgery - that's how much pain I was in before. I'm now 2 weeks post-op and doing well. I'm looking forward to getting in better shape and stronger as soon as I can get to the gym. I've had lots of positive support and canine therapy which has made the recoup process easier. I'm almost done with my Lovonex injections (a blood thinner) and I actually enjoy physical therapy - it feels great once it's over!! So, that's what I've been up too these past few weeks!!
I've been away from the studio so I've been dabbling in my planners - journaling my surgery process. I haven't created anything and I'm anxious to get back! I have lots to create once I return home and I WILL get back to posting my projects soon!
I wanted to show you the doll tags I've made so far with this year's Simon Says Stamp Card Kits. My goal is to make one each month from the awesome card kits!!!!! Here's the three I've made so far ...
January Simon Says Stamp Card Kit Doll Tag - more details here.
February Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - more details here.
March Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - more details here.
These tags are so much fun to create and it will be nice to have one for each month this year.
I'll be back in the studio soon - hope you are all doing well!!

All Dolled Up for Spring

Hello Bloggers. Happy Sunday to everyone! I want to share a tag I recently finished using up some bits from my Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit. I created a few Easter cards with this lovely kit which you can see again in my posts here and here. I wanted to create a doll tag with the leftovers from March's kit, which I have done with each Simon Says Stamp Card Kit so far this year. You all must know by now how I adore Julie Nutting's Doll Stamps. Since it's Spring I chose Julie's "Audrey" doll stamp since she comes with a spring hat!! I dolled her up with a spring outfit and hat to match and here she is
I love her bunny skirt and matching hat. Her hat reminds my of when my Mom and Gram were young and hats were quite the accessory!! I died seam binding ribbon with Ranger's Distress Markers - the effect on the seam binding ribbon is more subtle than Ranger's Crinkle ribbon, (I prefer the Crinkle Ribbon) but it'll do in a pinch - you can still see the two toned effect. Her skin, hair and cheeks were highlighted with watered down Gelatos.
Here's a close up of the bottom of the tag - I used Lawn Fawn's Grassy Border die to create the grass.
She makes me happy - the bright Spring colors and the fact that it's the third tag I've created using Simon Says Stamp Card Kits!!
Thanks for hanging out and I'll be back Tuesday with a scrapbook page using Noel Mignon's latest and greatest kit!!! Ciao for now.

Gettin' My Peep On!!!

Hey Peeps!! I'm hopping on to share a few more Easter cards I made using Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit. I can't get enough of the ADORABLE peeps in the stamp set included in the kit. There is a coordinating die set for the peeps too - how cool is that?!?! This month's kit is sold out but April's kit is available so grab one before they fly out the door!! Here's my first card - very simple to make sure the sweet peep is the center of attention. I did all my stamping with the Misti tool - one of the best purchases I've made lately!!
The stamp set included several different faces for the peeps - I love this one with the eyes close.
Just a few sequins, some twine and a sentiment and the card is done!
My second card started with a watercolored background. I then added a Peep Family using different patterned papers from the kit.
The peep family is seriously cute.
I will create more with this kit but I wanted to get my Easter cards done on time.
Happy Easter to everyone - hope you have a great time with family and friends! I'll be back next week with more projects!!

Easter Cards

Hi Everyone. I was reasonably creative this past weekend and I managed to make a few Easter cards. I used Simon Says Stamp March Card Kit to create my first card. This kit is so adorable and perfect for Easter! Here's a peek at the kit
The stamp set is super cute - the peeps are so sweet and a matching die for the peeps is included. I created a simple card using one of the larger peeps from the stamp set. Here's my card
How cute is the chocolate peep?!?! I added a pom pom for the tail and added a few sequins that were included in the kit.

For my second card I used a water colored egg I had leftover from my last Mixed Media Monthly DT project. You can see that project >>here<<. I used Lawn Fawn papers for my card.
I added black striped washi and stamped the sentiment in black which pops off the brightly colored background. I also added some sequins for a bit of sprakle!
Thanks for visiting me today and enjoy the rest of your week!!

Bring on the Pink!

Good Morning and Happy Monday!
I had a lovely crafty weekend, creating and reorganizing a few things. Today I want to share a tag I created using February's Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. I started with a watercolor background . I grabbed a few distress inks and some watercolor cardstock and blended a few pink distress inks together. I splattered some watered down black gelato after the two pinks dried. I created another Julie Nutting Doll tag using her amazing stamps. My girl is decked out in papers from Simon Says Stamp card kit. Here she is ...
I stamped her out onto Neenah Smooth Classic Cream cardstock which is actually a nice flesh color. I then added gelatos to color her skin, checks and hair.
The sentiment is part of this month's card kit.
I added some quartz stones from Queen & Co. to dress up her shoes.
I can't get enough of these adorable doll stamps and I just added some cute summery beachy girls to my collection. I can't wait to create with them. I plan on bringing them to the March Crop on the Cape event which I'm sooooo looking forward to!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I'll be back tomorrow with a new layout.
Have a wonderful Monday!
