Hello December! Hope all of you who celebrated Thanksgiving had a wonderful Holiday. I had a lovely time with lots of family and friends and wish we could celebrate this holiday more than once a year. Its' such a nice time to reflect on all we are thankful for and just be together! (and the food is pretty amazing too!)
Today the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge Blog is revealing the latest challenge. The theme this month is Silver and Gold!
I created two Holiday cards using the oh so fabulous Mega Flakes and a fun holiday stamp from IndigoBlu. Here are my cards - one using the Silver Mega-flakes and a second using the Gold Mega-Flakes.
The silver is so shiney which is hard to capture and so gorgeous IRL! Here's a close-up
I added some glossy accents and glitter to the snowflakes around the tree for even more glimmer! The papers are from Lawn Fawn's "Peace Joy Love" collection. Here's my gold card - these papers are from Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit ...
