Welcome February !!

Happy February !! SOOOO glad to see January leave ... January is such a long, cold, dark month and good riddance !! February is the month of Groundhog Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day - a long overdue holiday from work - and it's a short month with longer daylight hours !! It's closer to spring and it's the start of another Survivor season !! I'm such a survivor addict ... Feb. 11 ... it's on my calendar !! (yep, I'm a dork !!)

It's also time for a new sketch and a super exciting announcement at Inspired Blueprints !!! IB is being featured in Scrapstreet.com Magazine this month !! How cool is that ?!?! We are being featured as a "Blog with a Purpose" and Sketch 41 as well as the Design Team's samples will be published !! The article starts on page 25 here ... I'm so proud to be a part of this incredibly talented team !! Please stop by and check us out !!

Here is Sketch 41 and my take on the sketch with some close-ups !!

 

The photo highlights the adorable Kelsi Chick and the photography is done by a good friend of mine, Heather Chick whose photography business had taken off !! This layout posed quite a challenge to photograph due to the acrylic background ... here's another shot of the layout with probably too much editing since Kelsi looks like she's just back from a month in Florida !!

Anyway, it was a fun project, especially with such an adorable subject !!!
