A Gorgeous New Kit

Hi Ya'll! I've been a bit of a blog slacker lately so I thought I'd hop on with a layout I did for the 

Noel Mignon Blog yesterday. I used this month's Picture Perfect Classic Kit. As always Noel's kit are loaded with product - take a look at the picture below of the Classic Kit contents

This month's Daily Diary Kit is sold out but you can see all the fun and trendy product that is included.

This week the Design Team's Challenge is to use the gorgeous velvet ric rac that is included in both of this month's kits. I created a 12 x 12 page this week and used Pinkfresh Studios paper as a background for my layout. The paper is so pretty on it's own so I let it do most of the work for me. I added a few elements in a grid design, including a few pieces of the ric rac, which is self-adhesive ... LOVE that!! Here's my page

I love this picture of Joshua and I from a few years ago. We were just hanging around on my deck enjoying a lovely summer day! I miss him lots! Here's a few closeups

I combined washi tape, puffy stickers, die cuts and the ric rac to form a grid design, then added my photo. This is a easy simple design and allows the paper to do the work.

 I'm starting to gather my crafty supplies for the upcoming Crop on the Cape which starts next week. I can't wait to see my crafty friends, hang out and be silly and maybe get some crafting done!! I hope to take lots Instax of photos like the one above. I have my Instax Printer ready to go so I can print these adorable mini polaroids right from my iphone. Getting excited for this event!!
