Decorative Bags for a Project Life Page

Hello and Happy Friday!! I wanted to share a project life page I recently created using the decorative bags from June's The Planner Society kits. The bags our goodies come in are WAY too pretty to not use, so I cut them up and used them as pocket cards for my page. Here's the whole page.
The lovely floral bags made great backgrounds for my photos and journaling. Here's close ups of each card starting with my title card.
I added some washi tape to the next card to cover a spot that I ripped when I peeled off the seal on the bag. The small floral patterned paper behind the photo below is packaging from June's Kit.

The photos were printed with my Instax printer. More packaging was used behind the photo below.
Here's the last few close ups.
The mirrored embellishments make great accents on the photos and the cards.
This page was fun to create and I made use of the entire kit! It also makes a perfect second page to a previous PL page I created with the same kit. Here's a look at them together.
Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!! I'll be back next week with a new PL page using the latest Daily Diary Kit from Noel Mignon!
Ciao for now!

Project Life Continues

Good Monday Morning! Remember a few weeks ago when I said I'd share a Project Life page and then last week I said the same thing? Well today I'm finally getting my butt in gear to share. I swear, this adorable bundle of a puppy is quite time consuming ... and I'm loving every minute of it! I'm so thankful my hip allows me to keep up with her. If I can just get my opposite ankle to heal I'll be 100%. I have achilles tendonitis in my left ankle (hip surgery on the right side). PT is trying hard to work this out so I keep plugging away. Unfortunately there's no way to rest my ankle between work, puppy, lots of stairs in my house and life. Anyway I joined my local YMCA and I'm adding weight training and more cardio to my routine. I hope to continue to lose weight and feel stronger so I can keep up with Lola!
Back to my Project Life page. I used The Planner Society's May Kits to create a page for Week 11, 2016 page. TPS main kit comes with gorgeous double sided papers. I make a monthly divider for my planner then use the remaining papers to create a PL page. I have done this each month this year. This shows how versatile these kits are. Here's my page.
These pics are from this past year's Crop on the Cape - an annual get together that has become a treasured tradition. Here's close ups of the cards starting with the title card.
I used silver glitter tape behind the word cut out on the frame. How cute is the birdie paper from the kit?!
The cardstock stickers and puffy stickers from the kit are perfect embellishments for the cards.
Here's a few more close ups. The included "Hello Today" card is a perfect fit for the pocket.
Here's the final card. The journaling strips were typed out on my vintage typewriter!
Well, I finally shared my page!! I feel like it was ages ago that I created it. I am continuing to create PL pages and you will see more of them starting next month. I will be creating PL pages with the super awesome Noel Mignon Kits and the next Daily Diary and Classic Kits are screaming summer!! I can't wait to dive in!!
Thanks for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow with my last layout using Noel Mignon's "Happy Days" Classic Kit! Have a great Monday!

Project Life Page and Amen to Friday!

Hey ... It's FRIDAY!! Amen and Halleluiah to the work week being over! It's been very busy at work which is tiring me out as my hip is really hurting. I'm planning on surgery soon - the chronic pain is not welcome!! It's time to relax, spend time with my family and work on some deadlines - all in two days LOL!!
I worked on a Project Life page in between Design Team Projects using Maggie Holmes Open Book. Here's my whole page...
Here's the title card - I layered a frame, die cuts and a few other elements to add depth.
I used the rub ons that coordinated with the Open Book collection and a few of the cards.
My photos this week feature my love of coffee and were printed with the Collect App...

Here's the last few cards ... I LOVE the layered tags in the collection!!
The confetti pockets were already created from the prior week.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you too can relax and enjoy family and friends this weekend! See you next week, rested and ready to tackle another hectic work week!!
