"Falloween" Continues

Hey Everyone! Hope you enjoyed the long Holiday weekend (if you had one). I'm up on the Noel Mignon Blog today with another Project Life page using this month's "Falloween" Daily Diary Kit. There are a few of these kits left in the shop and the kits are GREAT for Fall and Halloween themed projects. This week the Noel Mignon Design Team is scraplifting either another DT member or a Noel Mignon member. I scrap lifted a Noel Mignon member and used her layout as inspiration for my title card. World Card Making Day

Happy Saturday and Welcome October! October 1st is also World Card Making Day. Cards have played an important role in social circles for hundreds of years as a thoughtful gift all the way to a necessary part of proper etiquette. The best way to celebrate World Card Making Day is, of course, by making your own cards. 

I created a very simple card using this month's Noel Mignon's "Falloween"  Daily Diary Kit. The base for my card is a Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Notecard. I simply layered some cardstock stickers to create a cute fall card.

Here's a close up. I added some enamel dots to some of the flower centers for a bit of dimension.

The only limit to your cards is your imagination so let your creativity fly and create some cards to send to your family and friends on World Card Making Day!

Her Name Is Lola ...

Hello Bloggers! It's been over a week since I've blogged so I wanted to catch up a bit. I started back to work June 7th so I'm adjusting to the long days again between the commute and the full work day. 

On the same day, I was blessed with an adorable cockapoo puppy, which we named Lola, and she has been occupying my time - in a good way!!! We are slowly working on a routine. Potty training is the most challenging so far. She has adapted to the crate quickly and today put herself in the crate for a nap. Lola is a picky eater which I'm not used to. Simba had a GREAT appetite ALL the time!! Lola is smart so I'm sure this will work out. I have lots of pics of little miss Lola on my Instagram account.

I have a new layout on the Noel Mignon Blog that I want to share. I used the "Happy Days" Classic Kit for my page. This week our challange is "Splish Splash" - use water/pool/beach, etc. somewhere on our page. I have LOTS of pictures that fit that description! Here's my page

I used lots of Amy Tangerine papers for my page - so its' very colorful!! For close ups and details check out my Noel Mignon Blog post.

I have a project life page I never posted last week so I will share that this week!

Welcome March!!

Hello Everyone and Happy March! We're getting closer and closer to spring and closer to escaping a tough New England winter like last year. The sun is definitely warmer and the days are a bit longer - we can taste spring here in New England!! 

In honor of Leap Year the Noel Mignon design team is Taking a Leap of Faith. We are incorporating something new to us in our projects this week - whether it's a new technique or a new page design. Since I've recently joined the planner craze, I decided to create a planner spread with elements from this month's "Heart of Gold" Classic Kit.  Here's a sneak peek of my planner pages using lots of embellies from the kit.

A Heart of Gold Layout

Hello Bloggers! Good Tuesday Morning to ya! Hope you're all doing well. I'm up on the Noel Mignon Blog today with a new layout using February's

Heart of Gold Classic Kit. The design team challenge this week is "Hearts All a Flutter". Translation: use an interactive element on your page. It can be a dangling charm or some hidden journaling. I chose to add some hidden journaling to the back of a tag, which I tucked behind my photo. Here's a peek at my page.

A Yummy Layout

Hello and Happy Tuesday. Hope you are well and ready to tackle another week. Here in good old New England we had the COLDEST weather we have had in a long time. It was -12 degrees at one point before the wind chill. Today it's supposed to reach 50 degrees. It's New England baby - always keeping us on our toes.

The Winter Blues

Happy Tuesday! I'm hopping on to share my second layout using Noel Mignon's January Sweet Charlotte Classic Kit. Our theme this week is Winter Blues. We can use blue as a dominant color or we can create a project showing how we fight the winter blues. I combined both interpretations of the theme. Winter - my photos are a chilling reminder of last years horrible winter season. Blues - the blue floral patterned paper. How I fight the Winter Blues - head into my studio and create!! Resolutions with Mistletoe & Holly

Hey Everyone! Hope you had a great Holiday. The least favorite part is coming up - cleanup!! So, put that aside for a bit and tune in to the Noel Mignon blog for some Resolution-themed projects this week. I created a pocket page using December's Mistletoe & Holly Daily Diary Kit. My page has no photos on it to focus on the journaling. Here's the whole page.

I love the simplicity of this page. The journaling is the main focus and the pocket cards in this month's kit make the journaling easy! For more details and close up photos please stop by the blog today.

Amen for the Weekend and a Fun Challenge!!

Hey There! Happy Saturday! It's been a busier than usual last few weeks for me. I was in a minor car accident after Columbus day - rainy day, tons of traffic, hit from behind, no injuries kinda accident. I just got my car back from the shop yesterday, so that's behind me. Then, my card reader messed up my CF card which messed up my camera so off the shop with that - camera is fixed and cleaned, I just need a new card reader. This past weekend, I had a cyst that quickly became infected and needed to be attended to, so that was done on Tuesday - healing nicely now.  Throw in work, ridiculous commuter traffic and you can bet I'm glad it's the weekend!! I need some studio time to chill out!!

Onward ...

Over the past week, the Noel Mignon Team has been hosting a Fall Crop with lots of FUN challenges. I'm up today with a "Falling Leaves" challenge. It's easy - use some form of leaf paper, leaf ribbon or leaf shaped embellishment on a project. I made a PL page and fussy cut leaves to use as accents on the page. My photo quality is poor here -  these were taken with my iphone - a new card reader is on the to-do-list this weekend!!
