Here's a peek ...
Please stop by the Noel Mignon Blog for lots of close ups of my layout and to check out this week's challenge.

Memorial Day Weekend Recap and Project Life | Week 38

Howdy Peeps! How are you? Hope you had a great Memorial Day weekend. I had such a fun and busy weekend - I'm so sad it's over. It started Friday afternoon with a crafty get together with my artsy fartsy gals. We caught up with Tim Holtz 12 Tags of 2015 as well as other mixed media projects. The crafty fun continued over the weekend as one of my gals stayed over my house and the crafting continued. I really enjoy her company and we had lots of laughs! Then Sunday I went to my parents for another busy day. We gave Simba a bath, bought plants and arranged 6 window boxes and had the first official cookout of the summer. Unfortunately Simba was pretty sick that night but she is fine now - thank goodness!!
I also finished a Project Life page I've been working on for awhile. I am still catching up with 2014 and will be starting 2015 soon with an exciting new adventure which I can't wait to share with you!
I did a two page spread for Week 38 | 2014. I used Dear Lizzy's Daydreamer Mini Kit  for these pages. Here are to pages together ...

Here's the left side of the spread using Photo Pocket Page Design G. I find this page design really challenging I think because of all the 4x6 pockets. Since I didn't have tons of photos for this week, my good friend suggested map pages of my daily work commute. Here's the result ...

This is the right side of the spread using Photo Pocket Page Design F.

Here's some close-ups of the pages ...

Thanks for stopping by and I will be back with the 12 Tags of 2015 later this week. Have a great week!!

Hello Everyone!! Hope you all had a fun Fourth of July (once hurricane Arthur moved on out!!) I had a great weekend and still have Monday and Tuesday off - it will be very hard to go back Wednesday! WE had a cookout Saturday - wings and Italian sausages - YUM!! Sunday was an AWESOME day by the pool - one of the most relaxing days since my vacation last year in Bermuda!! Today will be catching up on blog stuff and some projects and more sunshine!!
On Friday I finished up PL Week 25! I continued with Dear Lizzy's 5th and Frolic collection and page Design A. Here's the whole page followed by close-ups of the cards ...

Embellishments: washi tape, sequins, cardstock stickers and my date stamp ... Here's the title card.

Project Life: Week 24

Hello Everyone! I'm back with my latest Project Life page! For Week 25 I used my Dear Lizzy 5th and Frolic core kit, which is available exclusively at Michael's. I used page Design A and printed my photos 2x2. Here's the whole page followed by close-ups of each card ...

I added washi tape, enamel dots, wood veneer arrows, cardstock stickers and some stamping to the cards. It sounds like a lot  but it's only takes a few touches to dress up the cards a bit. I typed the journaling - mistakes and all!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and please say hi!! Enjoy the rest of the week!!

Layout with a Sketch

Hello Bloggers. I'm back today with a layout I just finished - I mean JUST finished! Right under the wire for Creative Scrappers Sketch #266. This was a fun sketch and the DT did a great job with it! I kept true to the sketch for the most part. I used my latest kit from Noel Mignon called "Carousel" which is gorgeous (and sold out). Noel's kits are amazing and so FULL of product. She now has three different types of subscriptions, including a Project Life styled kit. Check them out ... HERE.
The layout is due tomorrow over at Creative Scrappers so I finished just in time! Here's my layout ...

Simba and Max can be found snuggling like this daily - not for long, but still photo worthy! The papers and embellishments I used are predominantly Dear Lizzy's Daydreamer collection. Here's Sketch #266 ...

Instead of stitching I sprinkled some sequins along the side. Here's some close-ups ...

Well I'm off to link up my layout and move one to another project. Enjoy your day and I'll be back later this week!!

Project Life: Week 17

Good Monday Morning!! Hope you all had a great weekend and are ready to face the week head-on! I had a quick but productive weekend with lots of studio time on Sunday. I finished Project Life Week 17 and I'm psyched to be able to share some exciting news very shortly! OK, a little hint ... it's mixed media related. In the meantime I wanted to share my latest PL page. I used an adorable mini kit from Dear Lizzy's "Daydreamer" collection including coordinating rub ons and cardstock stickers. The photo pocket page is Design F.  Here's the title card - staying with my theme this year - keep it simple!

Here's the entire page followed by some close-ups...

I cut up some of the journaling cards - yes, you heard me right, to make cute little banners. The banners are a simple way to add detail to the cards. Of course, sequins and stickers help too!

Simba and Max make me smile - everyday!

Thanks for stopping by today. My tag of the month for May is done and I will be back to share it with you on later the week. It's another ADORABLE Prima Doll Stamp by Julie Nutting and she's all dolled up for the nicer weather.
Have a great week!

Project Life: Week 12

Happy Wednesday. I'm heading out this morning to travel to work in the storm ... we'll see how that goes. Hope my friends on the Cape will be OK as they are getting the brunt of the storm if it tracks as predicted. Spring - where are you!?!?!?
I have caught up with Project Life! Week 12 is done. For week 12 I used
Dear Lizzy "Neapolitan" collection that I bought at Michaels. I LOVE this collection - it's fresh, light and summery ... a nice change from our weather here in New England. I used photo pocket page Design F. This is my favorite page design because it allows for lots of pics and journaling. I used the Collect App again and printed my pics on my Canon Selphy. The photos come out smaller that 3x4 which I love so I can embellish around them if I want. Here's the whole page ...

I love how soft the colors are in this collection. The only embellishments I added were Doodlebug Design sequins and some stamping. Here's the title card and some close-ups ...

I can't get enough of my vintage typewriter ... I love the typed look, it's so easy and fast. I have yet to line up the margins of journaling perfectly but I don't mind ...

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'd love to hear from you! Have a great week and I'll be back soon!!

Project Life: Week 11

Good Monday Morning! In New England we are so done with Winter, but Winter is not done with us! It's wicked cold this morning and we have ANOTHER storm coming Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Enough already!! Spring, please come soon!!!
I have finished Project Life Week 11. I used my "Just Add Color" core kit and page design HSN 3. This is my fourth week using the Just Add Color kit and I still have tons left! I used a combination of neutrals with pops of yellow. Here's the whole page ...

I am keeping the cards simple this year and I like the clean look of them. I used the collect app for the photos and printed them a bit bigger for the 4 x 6 cards. I used washi tape and some Doodlebug Design sequins for embellishments. Here's some close-ups starting with the title card ...

You may see a few water spots on the cards - of course it started to rain as I was photographing. The beauty of printing photos on the Canon Selphy is the final coating on the photo makes it totally waterproof!

I love how the Doodlebug Design sequins have several shades of the same color! I'm kinda addicted to these ... LOL!!

So that wraps up PL Week 11. I have enjoyed using the Just Add Color kit but I need to use a different one for Week 12. I decided to go with Dear Lizzy Neopolitan kit. It's fresh and summery - I need that with the Winter that won't go away!! Have a great week and I'll return with PL Week 12 soon!! Thanks for stopping by!

Project Life: Week 4

Hello and Happy Super Bowl Sunday. I know today is a big day for sports enthusiasts-me, I might watch tonight's game for the commercials!! Have fun Superbowlers and I hope your team wins tonight.
My dog Simba is doing about the same - still a bit lame. Hoping her meds do the trick and bide me more time with her. She is an amazingly sweet and happy dog! Thanks to those who asked about her!
Project Life Week 4 is done and I kept it simple. I printed the photos from my "Collect" App and like how they came out. I wouldn't want to do this all the time but I like the change. The photos are small but I love the instagram like format. The App is a great way to document daily and it sends you reminders if you forget to snap a pic! For week 4 I used Dear Lizzy's "Polka Dot Party" Core Kit. I love this collection. The photo pocket page is Design "F". Here's the whole page follow by some close-ups ...

I used Amy Tangerine's Calendar date stamp for the title card again - isn't it fun! A little washi tape, some cut-outs and done ...

I typed out all my journal cards, made a few typo's (oh well!) and added some washi tape and mini paper clips to the photos for a bit of detail ... also added some stamping.

So check out this collection - you will Love it! See you tomorrow for my Valentine's project as part of the fun Blog Hop going on right now! Check out the details over on Jenn Shurkus' Blog!!! See you then!
